Patches is one of the Zhu Zhu Hamsters who loves  her special starter set toy track so much that she’s only available as part of the colorful Zhu Zhu Starter Set.  Our Zhu Zhu Patches loves flowers and will do just about anything to get her some flower action.  Patches runs on wheels, slides down toy hamster slides, and zips through crazy u-turns just to get a chance to sniff some delicious petals.

Each of the Zhu Zhu Pets has his or her own unique image on their fur.  Since it’s no secret how much the  Zhu Zhu Pets hamster Patches loves flowers; she wears one on her back!  This toy pet hamster has fur that’s patched with brown/tan and white, and on the white patch in the middle of her back is the image of a flower.  Patches is the only one of the Zhu Zhu hamsters whose fur is marked with a flower.

While Zhu Zhu Patches is always moving and running around, she, just like all the other Zhu Zhu hamsters, still makes time to love her human friends. Patches is loveable, huggable, and always on the go!   Kids love interacting with Patches as she has special sounds and characteristics all her own.

5 Stars Rate the toy, not the price
These toys are great! They make my 4-yr old and his friends happy! They laugh so hard sometimes playing with them! It is what they say “a pet without the mess.” Yes, sometimes you have to give them a nudge in their hamster toys, but the kids don’t care. People should not be allowed to rate these items UNLESS THEY HAVE THE TOY. Imagine if you created these toys and they got so popular so quickly that Demand was greater than the Supply? They didn’t know this was going to happen. Would you want someone giving your product one star because they are whining about the price of it? Don’t rate something unless you own it!

Zhu Zhu Squiggles

Squiggles is the fussiest and most finicky of the  Zhu Zhu hamsters.  You might think our beloved Zhu Zhu Squiggles is a bit jaded, with his attitude of “been there, done that, and lost the T-shirt in the wash!”   Don’t mistake energy and ambition for cynism, though because Squiggles is a hamster on a mission.  His life’s passion is exploration and adventure.

If your child gets Zhu Zhu Squiggles as a pet toy hamster Christmas gift, Mr. Squiggles will be more than happy to share his adventures with your boy or girl.   Squiggles just wants to explore galore, and then explore some more, so stodgy adults, get out of the way!  Let your child bond over his adventures with this Zhu Zhu hamster, love him, pet him , and watch him go. Just don’t call Squiggles cute.  He’s waaay too cool for that.

Wondering how Zhu Zhu Squiggles got his name?  The signs are clearly on his tan/brown fur.  That’s right, on the back of this Zhu Zhu Pets hamster, you’ll find a swirling … squiggle!  This toy pet hamster is the only one of the Zhu Zhu hamsters to wear his name right on his back.

4 Stars Great Toy, Overpriced here
This is a really cute toy and I am hoping it makes my daughters happy so I don’t have to buy a REAL hamster which is what they really want(LOL). BUT, these prices are ridiculous. Amazon is fulfilling these orders through 3rd parties who are setting the prices so I don’t exactly blame Amazon, BUT it is disappointing the way Amazon is marketing them. However, if you promised a little one these toys, this may be the only way to get them. Someone I know contacted the manufacturer and from what I understand the stores are only getting so many before Christmas and then that’s it. Apparently they haven’t been able to make enough to keep up with the demand. I spoke to someone at Walmart today and they said that they already got their allotment and they won’t be getting any more before the holidays and they were sold out already. YIKES!

Zhu Zhu Chunk

Chunk is as bit of a California surfer dude toy pet hamster.  Even though Zhu Zhu Chunk is white, without a surfer’s tan skin, he still loves the surf, sand, and sea!

That Zhu Zhu Chunk is the definition of a laid-back surfer hamster.  One minutes he’s basking in the sun and sand, just chilling out, hanging back, laying low and catching some hamster rays.  The next minute, Chunk gets himself a whiff of an ocean breeze, hears the sound of that slamming surf, and it’s bye-bye pet hamster Chunk!  Cute Zhu Zhu hamsters will be off and running, ready to hang ten and kowabunga dude!

This Zhu Zhu hamster has a totally unique mark on his back.  He’s the only Zhu Zhu toy pet hamster with the sign of a swirling sun right on his back.  That’s just one way you know that Zhu Zhu Chunk is meant to be a sun-worshiping hamster!

Don’t think the Zhu Zhu hamsters Chunk is a loner, though.  Just like all the Zhu Zhu pets, this boy wants to hang with your kids, so make sure they don’t spare the hugs for this cool hamster dude rodent.   Our Mr. Chunk Zhu Zhu Pet lives to feel the love.

5 Stars Thank God these Zhu Zhu pets work! Have plenty of AAA batteries in stock…
I got up early and was able to get Zhu Zhu Pets hamsters at WalMart. So glad because I know they are selling out stores because I’ve been calling everywhere.

Anyway, my kids have been playing with them all day. And then hair got wrapped around the little wheel and I thought one had broke so I spent forever trying to get the hair off — but that’s not what was making an additional squealing noise and making the wheels stop turning.

The little Zhu Zhu pets hamsters just needed new batteries. They came with 2 AAA batteries from the manufacturer — and I’m sure they weren’t in the store that long so that little hands could’ve worn out the batteries thru the “try me” window.

They must’ve just come with batteries not as good as the ones I changed them into. Because I just popped in some Duracel or whatever batteries — and now the Zhu Zhu Pets run even faster than when we first bought them this morning.

My children are playing with them as I write.

Now we want all the Zhu Zhu pets in the collection — and the accessories. Maybe by Christmas or before…

5 Stars “So Cute, just like real”
We now have 3 Zhu Zhu pets and they are adorable, just like having the real thing without the cleanup!!! Looking forward to purchasing the other items to make them a home of their own. My daughter is 8 and just loves them. I like picking them up and holding them, they are so soft.
