Using the Zhu Zhu Hamsters Sleep Dome

The Zhu Zhu Sleep Dome is made to connect to the Zhu Zhu Pets™ Funhouse, which is sold separately. The Zhu Zhu Surfboard is made to work with Zhu Zhu Pets™ hamsters and works best on an open floor outside of the Funhouse.

The sleep dome has a special code built into the tunnel that works with your Zhu Zhu hamsters, sold separately. The code triggers the sleep mode.

If the pet gets stuck entering the Sleep Dome check all the snaps and connector junctions. Your pet works best on smooth, hard,even surfaces. It will not work on carpet or other soft surfaces. Do not use in sand, grass, or wet conditions

When your Zhu Zhu Pets hamsters enters the sleeping hut, it could go to sleep or maybe it will decide that a nap is not needed and will come back out to play. You never know what you Zhu Zhu hamsters are going to do, which is part of what makes them so fun!  For even more fun, a Surf Board is included, so that your hamster can ride the waves!

Using the Zhu Zhu Pets Hamsters Surfboard

The Zhu Zhu surfboard is designed to work with your Zhu Zhu Pets™ hamsters, sold separately. The Zhu Zhu surfboard is not designed to work inside the play enviorments. It works best on a smooth floor. To put the pet on the board, line up the guide post on the bottom of the pet with the round hole in the middle of the surfboard.

Zhu Zhu Pets hamsters cannot read tunnel codes while riding on the surfboard.   The Zhu Zhu surfboard works best outside the track and Funhouse on a open surface.  If the Zhu Zhu hamsters does not move on the surfboard, make sure the wheels are still lined up with the openings near the back of the surfboard.

Zhu Zhu Chunk – Zhu Zhu Pets Surfing Toy Pet Hamster

Zhu Zhu Pets™ Hamsters Car and Garage

The Zhu Zhu Pets™ car and garage toy is not intended for live animals.  The Car & Garage is made to connect to the Zhu Zhu Pets™ Funhouse, which is sold separately.  The garage has a special code built into the tunnel that works with your pet, sold separately. The code triggers special sounds.

Put the Zhu Zhu hamster’s car inside the garage.   When you push the car all of the way to the back wall of the Zhu Zhu garage, the ramp of the car should be touching the ramp on the floor of the garage.   In this configuration, your Zhu Zhu hamsters will automatically get into the car and drive out of the garage.

If the pet seems to get stuck moving around in the garage or tunnel check all of the snaps and connector junctions. Your pet works best on smooth, hard,even surfaces. It will not work on carpet or other soft surfaces. Do not use in sand, grass, or wet conditions.

If the pet does not properly drive out of the garage check to be sure the car was pushed all of the way to the back of the
garage. Once out of the garage the pet may exit the car on its own.

If the doors do not open, reinstall the garage top. Be sure the hinges are trapped on top and bottom and swing freely.

Zhu Zhu Pets™ Spiral Slide and Ramp

Zhu Zhu Pets™ Adventure ball

Without the ball, Zhu Zhu hamsters do not work well on carpet by themselves.  The Adventure Ball is made to be used with Zhu Zhu Pets™ hamsters which are sold separately. The Adventure Ball works best on an open floor.

If  Zhu Zhu hamsters flip over in the ball,  simply turn the ball and flip them back. The speed and rocking motion may cause Zhu Zhu hamsters in the Adventure ball to flip fairly often.   Zhu Zhu Pets™  may also flip when they bump into things.

If your pet toy hamster falls asleep inside the Adventure ball, open the cap and press the back button.

Playing with the Zhu Zhu Pets™ Mini Ball

The mini ball is simply a push along. It works well inside a Zhu Zhu Pets™ Funhouse, sold separately. The Zhu Zhu hamsters  will have loads of fun pushing the ball through the tunnels and rooms.  It can also be used outside of a Zhu Zhu Pets™ set.

To improve the function of your pet inside the Zhu Zhu Pets™ Adventure Ball we have included a stabilizer plate. Attach the plate to the bottom of the pet prior to inserting it into the ball.

Place your Zhu Zhu Pets™ hamsters inside the ball. Push back button of your Zhu Zhu hamsters to get wheels turning. Lay your toy pet hamster on its side inside the ball while you close the ball cap.  Place ball on floor and give ball a little wiggle to upright your hamster …. Go!

Preparing Existing Play Set for the Zhu Zhu Pets™ U-turn

Make sure you have one or two available doorways in your existing set, so you have space to add your Zhu Zhu Pets™ U-turn.  Depending on the U-turn configuration, You may need to remove one or more door caps from your current play set..

Assembling the Zhu Zhu Pets™ U-turn as an S-Curve

By reversing one of the U-turn curves you can create an S- Curve track. The S-Curve needs only one doorway and can be attached to other rooms or add on sets sold separately.

If your toy pet hamster gets stuck moving in the Zhu Zhu Pets™ U-turn, check all the snaps and connector junctions.

Using the Zhu Zhu Pets™ Sk8 Board

The skateboard is designed to work with your Zhu Zhu Pets™ hamsters, sold separately. When on the skateboard, Zhu Zhu hamsters can skate in the U-turn or freewheel on a smooth floor.  To put your toy pet hamster on the board, line up the guide post on the bottom of the Zhu Zhu hamsters with the round hole in the middle of the skateboard.

Zhu Zhu hamsters cannot read tunnel codes while riding on the skateboard.  The skateboard works best outside the track and fun house on a open surface.  If you toy pet hamster does not move on the skateboard, make sure the wheels are still lined up with the openings near the back of the skateboard.

The Zhu Zhu Pets™ hamster is a toy and is intended as a pet toy hamster for children; it is not intended for use with live animals.

Zhu Zhu Pets™ hamsters come in many different colors and styles.  These toy pet hamsters are ready to go as soon as you remove them from their packaging.

Zhu Zhu Pets™ hamsters have two activation buttons and one sensor button. The button on the hamster’s head and one on its back activate the play. The button on its nose acts as a bump sensor when in Explore Mode and as a Try-Me button when in Sleep Mode. The nose button has no function in Talk Mode.  To turn off the wheel drive push either the head or back button.

Pet Toy Hamster’s Operating Modes

Zhu Zhu Pets™ hamsters have three Modes of operation:

• Talk Mode
• Explore Mode
• Sleep Mode

1. Talk Mode; this is the nurturing, loving mode, when you want to give your Zhu Zhu hamsters special attention without having it try to scurry away from you. Press the Head Button to make the pet coo, chirp, and make a variety of cute sounds. It will continue to make new sounds every few seconds or every time you push the Head button. After about one minute the pet will automatically go to sleep.

2. Explore Mode; this is where you get to watch the pet go out and explore the world!  Press the Back Button to engage the motor, then set the pet down and let it go. In Explore Mode your Zhu Zhu hamsters will entertain you with crazy fun sounds and wacky movements.  It will back up when it bumps its nose. Press the Back Button again while in Explore mode and the Zhu Zhu hamsters will go to sleep. If left alone in explore mode your toy pet hamster automatically goes to sleep after about four minutes.

3. Sleep Mode:  You Zhu Zhu hamsters sleep to conserve energy and save the batteries when not in use. You can wake it up by pressing the Head or Back button. Sleep Mode also doubles as a Try-Me Mode for the pet.  In Sleep mode, the nose button is active and will cause the pet to make simple sounds each time the button is pressed.  Your toy pet hamster will then go back to sleep.
