When they’re feeling cuddly, Zhu Zhu Pets™ like to be picked up and snuggled too.  Your little boy or girl can pet their Zhu Zhu hamsters gently on the nose, and both child and hamster will squeak with contentment.  These pet toy hamsters have over 40 different sound effects, depending on the unique environment they encounter.

Each Zhu Zhu Pets™ hamster has his or her unique way of reacting to the world and their own set of adorable sounds as they interact with your child.

Zhu Zhu Pets™ hamsters have two modes (Loving and Adventure/Exploring), each of which features as much as 60 seconds of sound and motion, with the toy hamsters reacting to everything around them.  Push a button on the back of the Zhu Zhu Pets™ to activate one of two modes.

In either mode, your Zhu Zhu hamsters will  talk to and interact with the children that play with them and any other aspect of the environment they encounter.   This means that with some Zhu Zhu Pets™ toys and accessories, these toy hamsters can run around in an exercise ball, hang ten on their surf boards, explore a Fun House, and snuggle in their carriers, blankets, and beds.
