Zhu Zhu Pets Skateboard and U-Turn

The Zhu Zhu Pets™ U-turn is made to connect to the Zhu Zhu Pets™ Funhouse, which is sold separately. The Sk8 board is made to work with Zhu Zhu hamsters and works best on an open floor outside of the Funhouse.

Preparing Existing Play Set for the Zhu Zhu Pets™ U-turn

Make sure you have one or two available doorways in your existing set, so you have space to add your Zhu Zhu Pets™ U-turn.  Depending on the U-turn configuration, You may need to remove one or more door caps from your current play set..

Assembling the Zhu Zhu Pets™ U-turn as an S-Curve

By reversing one of the U-turn curves you can create an S- Curve track. The S-Curve needs only one doorway and can be attached to other rooms or add on sets sold separately.

If your toy pet hamster gets stuck moving in the Zhu Zhu Pets™ U-turn, check all the snaps and connector junctions.
Zhu Zhu hamsters work best on smooth, hard,even surfaces. It will not work on carpet or other soft surfaces. Do not use in sand, grass, or wet conditions.

Using the Zhu Zhu Pets™ Sk8 Board

The skateboard is designed to work with your Zhu Zhu Pets™ pet, sold separately. When on the skateboard, Zhu Zhu hamsters can skate in the U-turn or freewheel on a smooth floor. To put your toy pet hamster on the board, line up the guide post on the bottom of the pet with the round hole in the middle of the skateboard.

Zhu Zhu hamsters cannot read tunnel codes while riding on the skateboard.  The skateboard works best outside the track and fun house on a open surface.  If you toy pet hamster does not move on the skateboard, make sure the wheels are still lined up with the openings near the back of the skateboard.

The Zhu Zhu Pets™ car and garage is a toy. It is not intended for live animals.  The Car & Garage is made to connect to the Zhu Zhu Pets™ Funhouse, which is sold separately.  The garage has a special code built into the tunnel that works with your Zhu Zhu hamsters, sold separately. The code triggers special sounds.

Put the Zhu Zhu car inside the garage.  Push the car all of the way to the back wall of the garage. The ramp of the car
should be touching the ramp on the floor of the garage.  You Zhu Zhu hamsters will automatically get into the car and drive out of the garage.

If the pet seems to get stuck moving around in the garage or tunnel check all of the snaps and connector junctions.  Your toy pet hamsters work best on smooth, hard, even surfaces.  Zhu Zhu Pets™ do not work on carpet or other soft surfaces. Do not use in sand, grass, or wet conditions.

If the pet does not properly drive out of  the garage check to be sure the car was pushed all of the way to the back of the
garage. Once out of the garage the pet may exit the car on its own.

If the doors do not open, reinstall the garage top. Be sure the hinges are trapped on top and bottom and swing freely.

5 Stars Works GREAT Just needs a piece of tape!
I purchased this entire set for my 4 yr old daughter about a month ago and it is the greatest toy ever! Yes, the garage does fall apart and the doors fall off, but all I used was one piece of tape all the way around to secure the roof and since then there hasn’t been a problem at all!! You can’t even see the tape, and it is a very easy fix.

I do recommend that you use the tape trick especially if you have little ones like I do. They just aren’t as gentle as older kids and she tended to knock the roof off easliy. I do not find that the hamsters get stuck at all. Most people don’t really understand how these little guys work.

First and foremost you have to replace the batteries in all the hamsters when you get them home. The batteries are only for in-store use and it says so on the instructions and on the website as well. Once you change the batteries….wow watch these little guys go!

Secondly you have to pay attention to the tunnel directions, again in the instructions and the website, otherwise they will not work correctly. Thirdly, they do NOT get stuck, they make their own little decisions…just let them go and see what they do! My daughter LOVES these and has played with them non stop since she got them over a month ago. For the price they are great! (Not on amazon though, look at toys r us or walmart, or especially ebay instead they have the whole set for a pretty good deal!)
