Zhu Zhu Patches Hamster from Series 4

Zhu Zhu Patches is the only one of the Zhu Zhu hamsters to have 2 lives. Cats are known for having 9 lives, but Zhu Zhu hamsters usually only have one.

However, Zhu Zhu Patches had her first life as one of the very first Zhu Zhu Pets hamsters released on the market, as part of Series 1. With Series 1, Zhu Zhu Patches was only available as the companion hamster when you purchased the Zhu Zhu Starter Set with the Patches hamster.

Now Patches also has a second life (called “Ltd. Ver. 2″ or “limited version 2″) as part of the Zhu Zhu Pets Series 4. With Series 4, Zhu Zhu Patches can join your Zhu Zhu collection on her own, without any particular accessory. Patches loves all the friends she has in Zhu Zhu Series 4, which includes Jinx, Peachy, and Cappuccino.

Patches name comes from her yellow and white patched Zhu Zhu hamster fur. If she were named for her heart, she’d be named “Petals,” because our Zhu Zhu Patches is a flower-lover extraordinaire.

The birthmark she wears on her back bears this out. It’s a flower, like a daisy, with many petals. Zhu Zhu Patches was born during the flowery month of August (8/21). For Zhu Zhu Pets collectors, her collector # is 0561.
